Ex://
- x^2-6x+5=0
the first step is find out what are the a,b,and c
A=1,B=-6,C=5
now we place them in the quadratic formula x = -(-6)+/-√((-6)^2-4(1)(5))/2(1)
we will do solve (-6)^2-4(1)(5)
(-6)(-6)=36
-4*5=-20
36-20=16 we get √16 = 4(perfect square)
-(-6)=6
6+/-4/2(1)
6+4/2=5
6-4/2=1
x=5,1 - 3x^2-6x+4=0
-(-6)+/-√((-6)^2-4(3)(4))/2(3)
6+/-√(36-12(4))/6
6+/-√(-12)/6
